mixed feelings about the stay

late check-inempty minibar

i was really disappointed that our room wasn't ready when we arrived, even though it was well past the check-in time. we had to wait almost an hour in the lobby, which wasn't a great start to our trip. plus, the minibar in the room was completely empty, which i found strange for a hotel of this caliber. i expected at least some complimentary water or snacks, but there was nothing.

My stay started well, I liked the live music in the lobby. the room was really small (maybe I had too much luggage). There was also no lock on the bathroom door, i didn't like this AT ALL. You could definitely hear noise from the hallway. The room wasn't soundproofed. I waited over an hour for my car, valet never called me. i had to ask where my car was.

The location was central to many attractions.

I had to change rooms twice because the first was too small. The second room smelled strongly of puke and cleaning chemicals, causing a headache. It should not have been cleared .

the gym featured a good selection of equipment suiting my fitness needs

check-in was notably delayed i arrived at 3 pm the designated check-in time my room was not ready until nearly 4 pm this delay after travel was unacceptable furthermore the absence of readily available soap and shower gel in the room upon arrival was a significant oversight these basic amenities should be standard i had to request soap on multiple occasions which is far from ideal

efficient room serviceweight machines

i found the room service efficient. i used the fitness center and saw it had several treadmills and weight machines. the broadway shows close to the hotel are amazing. i also liked the blackout curtains , made it easier to sleep.

the air conditioning unit was a little noisy.
